Comparing jurisdictions without ranking them
A useful comparison explains what each source covers and where the information differs. It should not rank countries as good or bad based on a few selected facts. Keep the research questions consistent and identify where reliable, comparable data is absent.
A practical checklist
- Define common comparison fields.
- Use each authority's own material.
- Avoid numerical rankings without a defensible method.
Putting it in context
One authority may publish a searchable register while another document supplies a specific decision. Those source types can be described, but they are not automatically comparable performance measures.
Keep in mind
This publication does not rate regulatory systems or recommend where to gamble.
