Complaints and resolution · QUICK REFERENCE
Tracking complaint responses
Maintain a compact response log that records promised next steps as well as completed ones. Quote only the wording needed to identify a commitment and attach the full message privately. This helps you follow up on an unanswered point without restarting the entire narrative.
A practical checklist
- Record who promised what and when.
- Mark commitments completed only with evidence.
- Keep unanswered questions in a separate list.
Putting it in context
If a reply promises a review but gives no date, record the review commitment and the missing date separately. Do not turn it into an assumed deadline.
Keep in mind
Follow the applicable procedure; this log does not create new response obligations.
